Make Clearer

Simplifies complex sentences and improves readability without changing the meaning.

Use When*: Content is technically correct but confusing or hard to follow
Example*:

Before: "The utilization of asynchronous programming paradigms facilitates the execution of non-blocking operations."
After: "Asynchronous programming lets your code run other tasks while waiting for operations to complete."

Make More Detailed

Expands brief explanations with more examples, context, and depth.

Use When*: Content is too brief or lacks examples
Example*:

Before: "Variables store data."
After: "Variables are containers that store data in your program. Think of them like labeled boxes - the variable name is the label, and the data is what's inside the box. You can change what's in the box anytime."

Make More Concise

Removes unnecessary words while preserving key information.

Use When*: Content is wordy or repetitive

Change Tone

Create knowledge checks and quizzes automatically from your lesson content.

From Lesson Content

Navigate to the lesson you want to quiz on
Open the Cognito panel
Ask Cognito to generate a quiz:

"Create a 5-question quiz on this lesson"
"Generate multiple choice questions about [specific topic]"
"Make a knowledge check with 3 questions"

Specify question types if desired:

True/false
Short answer
Fill in the blank

Review each question
Edit answers and explanations
Add the quiz to your lesson or module

Question Quality

Cognito generates:

Tips for Better Quizzes

Be Specific: "Create 5 multiple-choice questions about Python list methods" works better than "make a quiz"
Set Difficulty: Specify "beginner," "intermediate," or "advanced" level
Target Topics: Focus quizzes on specific concepts rather than entire lessons
Review Distractors: Make sure wrong answers are plausible but clearly wrong

Cognito can find stock media or generate custom images for your lessons.

AI-Generated Images

For custom, specific imagery that stock photos can't provide:

Describe the image you need
Cognito generates it using Gemini image generation
Review and insert
